Sembaruthi or Chembaruthi is a 2017 Tamil-language romance Family soap opera starring Karthik, Shabana and Priya Raman. The plot of the story is taken from Muddha Mandaram serial, a leading serial in Zee Telugu. It is currently airing on Zee Tamil.
The chemistry between the lead pairs (Karthik & Shabana) is the highlight of the show and their love story would be different and not a regular one like seen in all other serials. The show will also explore mindset and class conflict of two different personalities 'Akhilandeshwari' (Priya Raman) and 'Parvathi' (Shabana).
