Thrissur Pooram 2019: Thrissur Pooram is an annual Hindu temple festival held in Kerala's Vadakkunnathan Temple in Thrissur district every year. It is the largest temple festival held in Kerala. The celebrations begin a week in advance. There is a colourful display of fireworks, Panchavadyam (an orchestra of five instruments), the parading of elephants among other cultural, traditional and customary programmes.
