The Indian Air Force inducted eight Apache AH-64E attack helicopters at Pathankot Airbase on September 3, 2019. The Indian government in 2015 had signed a deal with the United States and Boeing to procure 22 Apache helicopters in September 15. As of now, the IAF has received 8 of these attack chopper with the rest scheduled to be delivered in a phased manner by 2020.
