Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan's Former President And Army Chief Sentenced To Death In High Treason Case

A special court on December 17, 2019 sentenced former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to death. He was found guilty in a high treason case dating back to 2007. The decision was announced by a three-member bench of the special court led by Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad.
