Kangana Ranaut Leaves Mumbai After Being ‘Terrorised; DGCA's Order On Actors Flight Row

Kangana Ranaut, has left from her Mumbai residence, as she heads to her home in Manali. Sharing a parting note, Kangana wrote on Twitter, “With a heavy heart leaving Mumbai”. Meanwhile, aviation regulator DGCA "clarified" on September 13 passengers can take photos and videos inside flights but can't use any recording equipment that creates chaos, disrupts flight operations, violates safety norms or is banned by the crew members. On September 12, the regulator had said that a scheduled flight will be suspended for a period of two weeks if anyone is found taking photographs inside the plane. Few days back, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation had asked IndiGo to take "appropriate action" after it found alleged violation of safety & social-distancing protocols by mediapersons in the airline's Chandigarh-Mumbai flight that had actor Kangana Ranaut as a passenger. She arrived in Mumbai amid tight security on September 9, the same day, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation conducted a demolition drive at her office, razing portions that they claimed were illegally built. Amidst escalating tension between her and the ruling Shiv Sena party, Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on September 13. She has been involved in a war of words with the Shiv Sena government. Party leader Sanjay Raut had condemned the actor’s comments about feeling unsafe in Mumbai. Kangana had compared the city to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which she doubled down on in her latest tweet. Amidst escalating tension between her and the ruling Shiv Sena party, Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on September 13.
