بابلو إميليو إسكوبار حيث يُشار إليه بأنّه ملك الكوكايين هو تاجر مخدراتٍ كولومبي سيّئ السمعة ويُعتبر الأكثر جرأةً والأكثر تأثيرًا وإجرامًا في تاريخ تجارة المخدرات ولد فى ال 1 من ديسمبر عام 1949 في كولومبيا وهو الثالث بين إخوته السبعة تزوج فى عام 1976 ولديه ولدان كان والده يعمل مزارعًا ووالدته معلمة في مدرسةٍ ابتدائية. تعلم بابلو ووصل للجامعة لكنّه ترك الجامعة وفضّل أن يكرِّس نفسه لأعماله الشخصية فمنذ طفولته كان دائمآ يتحدث بأن لديه رغبةٌ قويةٌ في أن يصبح مليونيرًا في سن الثانية والعشرين
