Hathras case will now be investigated by CBI. The Central Bureau of Investigation was on Saturday directed to take over the probe. The Uttar Pradesh government had recommended a CBI probe into the Hathras case. Meanwhile, several protests happened in many parts of the country asking for justice for victim's family.
