Former PLFI member beaten to death allegedly by villagers

A former member of People’s Liberation Front of India was beaten to death allegedly by villagers of Tesera in Gumla district on September 14. “Sandeep Tirkey had a criminal history. The police are conducting a thorough investigation in the incident,” said Gumla’s Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP), Manisha Kumar. PLFI is a faction of Maoist group.
