Thai king reinstates titles for once-disgraced royal consort
  • 4 years ago
Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn announced on September 2, 2020, that his royal consort Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi had been reinstated. Sineenat was removed from her position and stripped of her titles for “disloyalty” and an apparent “ambition” to match the status of the queen. It came just months after she was given the title of royal consort.
