The festival of Anant Chaturdashi is celebrated on the Chaturdashi date of Shukla Paksha in Bhadrapada month. This festival is also known as Anant Chaudas. On this day, the infinite form of Lord Shri Hari Vishnu is worshiped. It is believed that by observing the fast of Anant Chaturdashi for 14 years, Vishnu Lok is attained. This day is believed to be of Lord Vishnu. This fast is believed to give endless results. Another name of Lord Shri Hari Vishnu is Anant Dev. This fast removes the inauspiciousness of the planets. Lord Shriganesh is immersed on the day of Anant Chaturdashi.

भाद्रपद मास में शुक्ल पक्ष की चतुर्दशी तिथि को अनंत चतुर्दशी का त्योहार मनाया जाता है। इस त्योहार को अनंत चौदस नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इस दिन भगवान श्री हरि विष्णु के अनंत स्वरूप की पूजा की जाती है। मान्यता है कि 14 साल तक लगातार अनंत चतुर्दशी का व्रत रखने से विष्णु लोक की प्राप्ति होती है। यह दिन भगवान विष्णु का माना जाता है। यह व्रत अनंत फल देने वाला माना गया है। भगवान श्री हरि विष्णु का दूसरा नाम अनंत देव है। यह व्रत ग्रहों की अशुभता को दूर करता है। अनंत चतुर्दशी के दिन ही भगवान श्रीगणेश का विसर्जन किया जाता है।
