The top disease expert in the United States, Anthony Fauci, has warned against distributing COVID-19 vaccines under special emergency use without prove they are safe.
According to Reuters,... Fauci said that one thing you wouldn't want to see is an emergency use authorization without any signal it's effective.
He added that premature use might make it more difficult for researchers to get people to take part in other vaccine trials.
His remarks come after a report said the Trump administration might give approval for the emergency use of a vaccine as early as September, before phase three clinical tests.
