S. Korea's Mando Corp. to develop ventilators for COVID-19 patients in collaboration with NASA

South Korean auto parts manufacturer Mando Corporation is joining forces with NASA to develop ventilators for COVID-19 patients.
The firm said it was selected as a partner by NASA becoming the only Asian firm to collaborate on the project.
Mando will take part in NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Ventilator Intervention Technology Accessible Locally project aimed at ensuring the steady supply of ventilators during the pandemic.
The Korean firm is known for its expertise in redundancy technology,... namely to automatically fix malfunctions.
