The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide has risen to more than 23 million,... and the death toll to more than 800-thousand. The U.S. still has by far the highest number of both. As of Sunday, it's reported over 5-and-a-half million cases with more than 170-thousand deaths. The number of cases per day, however, has remained below 50-thousand for a week straight. The second highest number of cases is in Brazil, which has more than 3-and-a-half million... and more than 114-thousand deaths. India, on Saturday, reported its highest number of new cases so far at 70-thousand. That put it over the 3 million mark.
