Gandhi’s iconic eyeglasses expected to fetch over US$19,600 at UK auction

A pair of spectacles thought to belong to Indian independence leader Mahatma Gandhi are set to be auctioned in the UK. The iconic eyeglasses had been dropped off in a letterbox at an auction house in Bristol in southwest England by a seller who wanted to know if they were worth anything. The historic glasses are now expected to fetch £15,000 (US$19,600).
