The Indian Embassy in Moscow is reportedly in touch with the medical research institute that developed the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine. Media reports said that the Indian side is engaging separately with the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology for data on efficacy and safety of the Covid-19 vaccine that was developed in paertnership with the Russian Direct Investment Fund in "record time".
