29 Chinese nationals suspected of kidnapping for extortion were taken to the Phnom Penh Primary Court this afternoon for trial.
29 suspects were arrested, including 3 women. They will be prosecuted and punished under Cambodian Criminal Law.
This afternoon, the Phnom Penh Gendarmerie released a video of the arrest.
On the morning of the 11th of this month, the Phnom Penh Gendarmerie raided the Midland Garden Hotel in Long Penh, arrested 29 suspects and rescued 3 Chinese who had been kidnapped.
