Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said he has “huge trust” in Russia’s newly announced coronavirus vaccine. Speaking on August 10, 2020, Duterte said he has accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin's offer of the Covid-19 vaccine recently approved by Russian health authorities. Duterte said that when it becomes available, he would be among the first in the Philippines to participate in trials and publicly get the jab. Video source: AFP
