As per a report in the New Indian Express, the BCCI has left the decision of family members being involved in the league up to the franchises. If a relative, in fact, joins a player in UAE, he or she would need to remain in the bubble for the entire duration of the stay. The report further claims that barring a couple of franchises, none are willing to entertain the subject of relatives' involvement. CSK, in fact, has already ruled out the possibility of any family member of the player or support staff being a part of the tournament this time around.
