Global coronavirus case total ‘roughly doubled’ in the past six weeks, says WHO chief

World Health Organisation (WHO) Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a press briefing on July 27, 2020, that the total number of Covid-19 cases doubled in the past six weeks.
