India recorded a highest single day coronavirus spike of 49,931 inching close to 50,000, the total number of infections in India crossed the 14-lakh mark on Monday. Capping the deadliest week of the pandemic so far with highest single day spike of around 50,000, the total cases grew by 28% and the death toll jumped by 19%.
