Britain will open a special citizenship path to the people of Hong Kong starting January 2021,... taking another step to solidify a policy that has been openly denounced by China.
The UK's Home Office says holders of the British National Overseas passport and their immediate family members can move to the UK to work and study.
An estimated three million Hong Kongers are eligible.
