BCCI set to host two editions of IPL in Span of Six Months, Know the reasons why? | वनइंडिया हिंदी

The 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to happen in September-October and the next edition in April-May 2021. This year the IPL is to be played from September to the first week of November, which has not been announced officially, but it has been decided in the meeting of the BCCI’s Apex Council and the IPL Governing Council that from late September to early November. Till the 13th season of IPL is finished. After this, BCCI will have to organize another IPL in the next 6 months, because then no further window is seen to be empty.

शायद अब तक के आईपीएल इतिहास में ये पहला मौका होगा. जब छह महीने के भीतर हो दो आईपीएल का आयोजन होगा. इससे पहले मिनी आईपीएल को लेकर अफवाह उड़ती रही है. पर अगले छह महीने क्रिकेट फैंस के लिए दिलचस्प होने वाला है और वो क्रिकेट का खूब लुत्फ़ भी उठाने वाले हैं. पिछले हफ्ते सौरव गांगुली ने साफ़ शब्दों में कहा था कि इस साल आईपीएल होगा पर उसके लिए काफी कुछ देखना पड़ेगा. भारत में आईपीएल करवाने की कोशिश करेंगे और अगर यहाँ नहीं होता है तो फिर विचार किया जाएगा. जैसे ही 20 जुलाई की शाम को टी20 विश्वकप के स्थगित होने की खबरें आयो तो साफ़ हो गया कि इस साल सितंबर से लेकर नवम्बर तक आईपीएल मैच खेले जा सकते हैं. पर क्या ये संभव है? क्या बीसीसीआई ऐसा करेगी? तो जवाब हाँ में आता है. और मजबूरन उन्हें करना ही पड़ेगा.
