Thiruvananthapuram Railway has developed this new robot to provide services without coming in contact with a patient suffering from corona. Priced at just Rs 20,000, the robot is called 'Rail Mitra'. In crisis situations rail can bring to market it commercially .The robot will deliver the necessary supplies including medicine and water to the infected patient. Collect and take away used plates, bottles, masks and other items of the patient. The robot can be used safely at Corona Hospital and Quarantine Center. The material used by this ray can be disinfected in a chamber with ultraviolet rays. There is also a spray system to disinfect the floor. There are also arrangements for the use of this ray below. With which the floor will be germ free. The robot also has automated systems for hand sanitizing. So that the hand can be sanitized for 0.75 seconds. There is a 360 degree IP camera. Through which the controller can protect the communication from a distance. This purple ray used in this robot weighing 6 kg will be controlled automatically. ‘Ray Mitra’ will stop scattering this ray when it comes out of the room.

The Railway Minister has praised this robot. Rail has also hinted that the 'Rail Mitra' robot may be marketed in the coming days. The design and manufacturer of the robot is Nidhij. He is a Junior Engineer in Signals and Telecom. It is believed that the infection can be prevented by going one step further in this treatment.
