Samastipur district has also lost one of its red in a clash with Chinese soldiers. Aman Kumar Singh, son of Sudhir Kumar Singh, resident of Sultanpur village of Mohiuddinnagar block of Samastipur district, who was employed in Bihar Regiment 16, was martyred. Aman's martyrdom came to know about his father at around 9 o'clock when the commanding officer of the Indian Army called India from the China border.
समस्तीपुर जिले ने भी चीनी सैनिकों से हुये झड़प में अपना एक लाल खो दिया है। समस्तीपुर जिले के मोहिउद्दीननगर प्रखंड के सुल्तानपुर गांव का रहने वाले सुधीर कुमार सिंह के पुत्र अमन कुमार सिंह जो कि बिहार रेजीमेंट 16 में कार्यरत थे वो शहीद हो गये। अमन की शहादत की जानकारी उनके पिता को रात के लगभग 9 बजे मिली जब भारत चीन बॉर्डर से ही भारतीय सेना के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर ने फोन करके दी।
