The Indian Army has stated that 20 Indian soldiers were killed in action in a violent face-off with Chinese soldiers in the Galwan area on Monday night. The martyrdom of Indian soldiers has been saluted by some cricketers of the Indian team. Former Indian team batsman Yuvraj Singh and current opener Rohit Sharma as well as many players of Team India have paid tribute to the Army soldiers.

भारतीय सेना की ओर से आए एक बयान के मुताबिक, गलवन घाटी में भारत और चीन के सैनिकों के बीच हुई झड़प में 20 भारतीय सैनिक शहीद हो गए हैं, जबकि चीन के 43 सैनिक भी मारे गए हैं। भारतीय सैनिकों की शहादत को भारतीय टीम के कुछ क्रिकेटरों ने नमन किया है। भारतीय टीम के पूर्व बल्लेबाज युवराज सिंह और मौजूदा ओपनर रोहित शर्मा के साथ - साथ टीम इंडिया के कई खिलाड़ियों ने सेना के जवानों को श्रद्धांजलि दी है।
