Unification Ministry says North Korea will be responsible for deteriorating inter-Korean relationship

Seoul's Unification Ministry has said that North Korea's recent statement has returned the inter-Korean relationship to back before their first ever summit.
The Vice Minister of Unification, Suh Ho , in a press conference on Thursday, expressed the ministry's deepest pity over the statement on Wednesday by the General Staff of the North's Korean People's Army.
He said Seoul has worked in various fields to improve inter-Korean cooperation such as looking into allowing individual tours to the North and visits to the Gaeseong Industrial Complex by business owners.
The vice-minister added that North Korea will be responsible for the deteriorating relationship and urged Pyeongyang not to take measures that could worsen the situation.
