In a protest against the Brazilian government's response to the coronavirus pandemic, the non-governmental organisation Rio de Paz dug 100 fake graves on the country’s famous Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro on June 11, 2020. Brazil now has the world’s third-highest deaths related to Covid-19, and the world’s second-most number of cases.  The country has reported 802,828 Covid-19 infections and 40,919 related deaths as of June 11.
