Corona Crisis: Moody's ने India की Sovereign rating घटाई | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Moody's Investors Service on Monday downgraded India's foreign currency and local currency long-term issuer ratings to Baa3 from Baa2, citing the country's policymaking institutions will be challenged in enacting and implementing policies which effectively mitigate the risks of a sustained period of relatively low growth.

न्यूज एजेंसी पीटीआई के मुताबिक मूडीज का अनुमान है कि चालू वित्त वर्ष के दौरान भारत के जीडीपी में चार फीसदी तक की गिरावट आ सकती है. भारत के मामले में पिछले चार दशक से अधिक समय में यह पहला मौका होगा जब पूरे साल के आंकड़ों में जीडीपी में गिरावट आएगी. इसी अनुमान के चलते मूडीज ने भारत की सरकारी साख रेटिंग को ‘बीएए2’ से एक पायदान नीचे कर ‘बीएए3’ कर दिया.
