“Wish You Were Here” is a 1995 song originally performed by Swedish country band Rednex. It was written by L. Teijo and produced by Denniz Pop and Max Martin, and served as the third single from the group’s debut album “Sex & Violins”

The song was a major success in several European countries and topped the charts in Norway, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the latter of where it became the best selling song of 1995.
