Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally at the Assi Ghat in Varanasi, where he was accompanied by the French President Emmanuel Macron. PM Modi, along with President Macron, had inaugurated the 75-megawatt solar power plant in UP's Mirzapur district. President Macron is on a four-day visit to India. After the inauguration, President Macron and PM Modi visited the Trade Facilitation Centre in Varanasi’s Badalalpur.
