The Centre on Tuesday asked the states of Gujarat, Haryana and Rajasthan to tighten security and also deploy additional forces ahead of the verdict in the Asaram Bapu rape case by a Jodhpur court. The Home Ministry has asked the states to ensure that no violence takes place after the judgement is passed. The instruction has been passed as Rajasthan, Gujarat and Haryana have many followers of the self-styled godman.
