The Allahabad police have launched a 'smart e-police' mobile app for its officers. Under the smart e-police application, all policemen will be given an unique login ID with a password. In Allahabad alone, around 5,500 personnel will be able to access it for their leave sanction and maintenance of service book online. But while checking policemen's posting and other details, it was found that 550 policemen were missing in Allahabad and an investigation has been ordered by the authority.
