J&K: Terrorists hurl grenade at Army patrolling party in Shopian; one militant gunned down in Kupwara

The security forces on Friday gunned down one terrorist after an encounter broke out between the two sides in the forests of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district. According to a police official, security forces launched a search operation in and around the Kupwara forest following an information about presence of militants in the area.
