Uttarakhand: Heavy rain ‘alert’ in most parts of the state

After torrential rainfall, more rains in many parts of Uttarakhand have been predicted during the next 48 hours by the regional MeT office. Owing to a massive downpour alert, the state government had announced the closure of all government and private schools on August 25.
