After a day of nationwide strike called by the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress party, fuel price continued to increase on Tuesday as petrol was priced at Rs 80.87/litre and diesel at Rs 72.97/litre in Delhi, increasing by Rs 0.14/litre each. Meanwhile in Mumbai, the fuel prices rose to historic high as petrol touched Rs 88.26/litre mark and diesel was being sold at Rs 77.47/litre, increasing by Rs 0.14/litre and Rs 0.15/litre respectively.
