AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi’s remark that he will not chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai,’ has triggered another debate of nationalism in the country. Owaisi’s remarks came against the backdrop of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s suggestion that the new generation needs to be taught to chant slogans hailing mother India. But this is not the first time Owaisi has said something of this sort, why is his statement being given a political colour here?
