Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sangeet Som went ahead with the 'Paidal Nirbhay Yatra' despite denial of permission by local administration. However, after walking for 1 km with scores of his supporters, police stopped Som saying Section 144 that has been imposed in the area.
