Renowned Kathak dancer Pandit Birju Maharaj learnt dance and music since childhood. Pandit Jagannath Mishra used to be court dancer of Raigarh Royal family. His uncle was also a renowned Kathak dancer. Birju Maharaj had a legacy of Kathak and along with time, emerged as one of the greatest Kathak dancers of India.
