24 filmmakers return their national awards

After the prominent writer Arundhati Roy returned her national award following the protest by the intelligentsia against the rising intolerant atmosphere, 24 other filmmakers also returned their national awards today. Kundan Shah and Saeed Mirza were among the 24 filmmakers who returned their National Awards today and added their voice to what has come to be known as the Award Wapsi protest against rising intolerance.
