Rajya Sabha today passed the landmark Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Amendment Bill 2015 bill which was introduced in Parliament Last year. The move was seen as a result of pressure which mounted on Lawmakers after December 16, 2012 gang rape. One of the accused in the case, who was considered to be the most brutal, was a juvenile.
