Handwara Encounter: Colonel Ashutosh, Major Anuj among 5 personnel martyred in Handwara Encounter. Major Anuj Sood is also one of the names of martyrs in the encounter. Major Anuj Sood has an old relationship with the Army. Father CK Sood has been a brigadier in the army.
जम्मू-कश्मीर के हंदवाड़ा में आतंकियों के साथ मुठभेड़ में देश के पांच वीर सपूत शहीद हो गए । इनमें कर्नल, मेजर और 3 जवान शामिल हैं। एनकाउंटर में शहीद होने वाले जांबाजों में एक नाम मेजर अनुज सूद का भी है। मेजर अनुज सूद ब्रिगेड ऑफ गार्ड्स के अफसर थे। सेना के इस जांबाज अफसर का नाता सेना से पुराना रहा है। पिता सी के सूद सेना में ब्रिगेडियर रहे हैं। हरियाणा के पंचकूला के रहने वाले मेजर अनुज हंदवाड़ा एनकाउंटर में शहीद हो गए।
