Bled Number One is a french film made by Algerian native film director Rabah Ameur Zaïmeche. For his second movie, Rabah returned to Algeria, with a scenario and a detailed project. During shooting, he realised the film he wanted to made didn't corresponded with the script and he decided to let things happen and minimalised his interventions, shooting sometimes one hour and a half of improvisation. The result is surprising, the camera take the time to put itself in the strange world of the Loulouj community. Through provoked events, the movie treat various subjects, such as integrism or relations between men and women. A illness is born with Rabah's character, Kamel, and the spectator ends the movie with no conclusions, but a persevering feeling of pondering.

Rodolphe Burger, on the set, played for Rabah. He said he will return in studios for new records, but at the first projection, all agreed. This scene didn't need any modifications.
