Exploring Haveli Mubarik Begum & Mariam Zamani Mosque-10 Nov 2019

A visit to Haveli Mubarik Begum inside Bhati gate & then explored Begum Shahi mosque or "Mariam Zamani"mosque in Chuna Mandi on 10 Nov 2019. The mosque is one of the oldest mosques of Lahore. One of the earliest & remaining Mughal architecture in Lahore. Built by emperor Jehangir for his mother "Jodha Bai" from 1611-1614 AD. Later the design/style of Masjid Wazir Khan was influenced by the style of this mosque.
