Discovery of fragments and stones of 'four thousand years old' pottery from Islamabad
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A recent survey in the Sector I-11 area of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, found 4,000-year-old broken pottery.
A team of researchers and experts, after examining the pottery and ancient stones found there, claimed that these pottery and stones belong to the Hakra civilization.
Talking about this, Nadeem Omar Tarar, an anthropologist attached to the Center for Culture and Development, said, “It was a superficial survey and the objects found here belong to prehistoric civilization. More information in this regard will be obtained from a detailed survey by the government at this place.
Most of these pots are from the Buddhist era. Pieces of bangles have also been found in the items discovered.
"There is no doubt that these vessels are 4,000 years old," he said. Pieces of apple pottery can be traced back to the prehistoric period and the end of the Harappan period. But to get more information and discovery, you have to be careful and patient.
The land lies between two mountains in Sector 11-I, which researchers say contains hundreds of small rocks and broken pottery. On the one hand, there are cemeteries in which more pottery has been discovered during excavations.
