'Bulbul' made landfall on Saturday midnight between Sagar Islands of West Bengal and Khepupara in Bangladesh. It is hurtling northeastwards into the neighbouring country over the Sunderban delta, with two deaths reported in its wake. According to India Meteorological Dept (IMD), the severe cyclonic storm Bulbul weakened into a cyclonic storm and lay centered over Bangladesh adjoining coastal West Bengal at 0530 hours on Sunday. It is expected likely to move East-NorthEastwards across Bangladesh and likely to weaken into a deep depression during next six hours.
