In a first official statement after a deadly fire broke out at the ONGC gas plant in Navi Mumbai's Uran today, the Mumbai police said that 1 ONGC officer and 3 CISF personnel died while 3 people have sustained injuries in the accident. The police appealed the people living nearby Uran Plant to not give heed to rumours and added that the situation is under control.
