Addressing a press conference, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, "Is not it true that Mamata Banerjee has been opposing Idolatry for her vote bank. A year ago, when Durga Puja and Muharram did fall on the same date, the Mamata government had tried to ban the Durga puja celebrations. She could not ban Durga Puja only after the Kolkata High Court intervened."
