Washington DC storefronts get uplifting mural makeovers

Artist Andy Shallal, who owns several restaurants in Washington DC, is painting uplifting murals on restaurants and shops which have been forced to close due to the coronavirus. With the US capital under a mandatory stay-at-home order, he says he's trying to spread messages of hope and solidarity to raise people's spirits. Shallal also pays other local artists to help him decorate the dozens of businesses which are now on his waiting list.
