#DonaldTrump's #Hydroxychloroquine Retaliation Statement And India's Response.

Health Ministry’s Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said there is no shortage of hydroxychloroquine in India. Agarwal said the whole situation is being monitored at the highest level in terms of the requirement of the country linking it with the fact that how much is the production and also the API availability in the country. "It is ensured that not only today that even in future there will not any lack of hydroxychloroquine and there sufficient stock of the drug is available in the country,"

US President Donald Trump has again urged Americans to try the drug hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus. Though the drug has not undergone tests to prove its effectiveness in treating the virus, Trump has continued to advocate for it, telling reporters: ‘What do you have to lose?’ Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top doctor on infectious diseases in the US and a key member of the White House task force, told CBS Face the Nation program there was nothing to suggest the medicine had any benefit against coronavirus.
Lately, there has been a discussion about Hydroxychloroquine. The US has been asking India for it & subsequently, a lot has happened after that. But what is this drug & why does the US need it?
