Coronavirus hits Delhi religious event, over 7.5 lakh cases globally, more

Several state governments, including those in Uttar Pradesh and Telangana, have started identifying thousands of people who attended the religious congregation in Delhi’s Nizamuddin and may have caught the coronavirus. The governments are bracing for a massive fallout this gathering may have had after thousands attended it defying the lockdown. More than 7,77,000 people have been infected across the world, according to a Reuters tally.
